How the game works
Free entry
Playing is completely free. No purchase, no email, no account — just a name and your personal GG- player code. Each code comes with 3 tickets (3 guesses).
The guess
Each ticket is one guess at the price of gold (USD per troy ounce) for the next trading day. Guesses lock in and can't be changed. Guesses placed Monday–Thursday settle the next day. Gold markets are closed Saturday and Sunday, so guesses placed Friday, Saturday, or Sunday settle against Monday's price ("markets closed — settles Monday").
Scoring
Accuracy = 100 − (|your guess − settlement price| ÷ settlement price × 100).
- 98% or better — you're in that week's draw for the $100 gift card.
- 70% or better — nice guessing! Come back tomorrow for another round.
- Under 70% — not this time. Your next ticket is waiting.
The weekly draw
Each week (Monday–Sunday) forms one draw. Every 98%+ guess earns its player code one entry for that week. One winner is drawn per week and the prize is a $100 gift card.
How winners are contacted
Important: we don't collect email addresses, so we can't email you. Winners are posted on the Winners page by player code. Check back with your code after each weekly draw — if your code is listed as the winner, follow the claim instructions posted with it. Unclaimed prizes roll into the next week's draw.
Fair play
One code per person per game, please. Codes are single-use for checking results: once you reveal your scores, that code retires and your next game starts fresh. Settlement uses the same public gold price feed for everyone.
